| Zusammenfassung: | A presente comunicação descreve a ritualística mortuária pomerana, grupo étnico germano-eslavo imigrado para o Brasil a partir da segunda metade do século XIX. Oficialmente cristãos luteranos, os pomeranos desenvolveram em sua terra natal uma religiosidade popular paralela a oficial, numa síntese de elementos cristãos e duma religiosidade pré-cristã. Simbolismos, ritos e mitos desenvolvidos ao longo dos séculos se perpetuam até os dias de hoje. Tal fato se torna interessante no sentido que uma religiosidade popular protestante soa destoante com o caráter dogmático do protestantismo. A morte e a vida se revelam num elo onde um reflete o outro, por isso mesmo, a existência de sortilégios divinatórios, o medo de desagradar o morto, o cuidado com a inumação e a manutenção da presença simbólica do falecido no mundo dos vivos. The present article describes the Pomeranian mortuary ritualistic. The Pomeranians are German-Slavic ethnic group immigrated to Brazil starting from the second half of the century XIX. Officially are Lutheran Christians, the Pomeranians developed in your birthplace a parallel popular religiosity to official, in a synthesis of Christian elements and of a pre-Christian religiosity. Symbolisms, rites and myths developed along the centuries they are perpetuated until the days today. Such fact becomes interesting in the sense that a Protestant popular religiosity sounds out of tone with the dogmatic character of the Protestantism. The death and the life are revealed in a link where one reflects the other, for that reason, the existence of spells divinatory, the fear of displeasing the dead, the care with the burial and the maintenance of the symbolic presence of the died in the world of the alive ones. |
