| Summary: | La Rivista Euntes Docete nei suoi tre quarti di secolo di vita si presenta come testimone di un impegno serio di riflessione teologica e filosofica che attraversa diversi campi di ricerca e riesce a diventare un importante punto di riferimento per il mondo missionario e quello accademico. La Rivista, diventata poi nel 2013 Urbaniana University Journal, si rinnova periodicamente mantenendo intatta la sua linea di principio, ovvero, la ricerca di una verità viva e vissuta che diventi via e stimolo anche per gli altri, una verità che trasforma la ricerca accademica in un laboratorio umano di esperienze e di scambi proficui. Questa particolare verità è diventata l'espressione visibile di quell’imperativo che racchiude il titolo stesso: Euntes Docete, unendo armoniosamente la tensione salvifica con la comprensione profonda dell’umano che intende raggiungere. Throughout its 75 years of existence the journal Euntes Docete has persistently witnessed a serious commitment to theological and philosophical reflection. Touching on different research domains, it became an important reference point to both the missionary and academic worlds. The journal, which in 2013 became Urbaniana University Journal, has been able to periodically refresh its capacity for reflection and keep intact its tenet, in other words, that of the research on the living and lived truth. It is such truth that shows the way to the other components of society; it is such truth that transforms academic research into a laboratory of human experience and exchanges mutually profitable. Such truth has become a visible expression of the imperative verb mode featured in its name. Euntes Docete, thus bringing together the Good News with the unfathomed comprehension of the human world that it intends to reach. |
