| Summary: | The researchers investigate the role of Islam in promoting ethical society in globalized world against the extremists’ interpretations of Islamic ethical system, using the self-develop theoretical framework based on Amr Bi al-Maruf Wa al-Nahyi al-Munkar - promotion of goodness and prevention of badness. The content analysis method is used in this research to collect the data from the religious scriptures and literatures.
