| Summary: | A Reforma Protestante do século XVI foi um dos acontecimentos que marcaram a história da Igreja, a ponto de dividir o cristianismo ocidental entre católicos e protestantes. Não muito tempo depois, houve uma temá-tica que causou o primeiro grande cisma entre os próprios reformadores e seus seguidores. Com base nessa perspectiva, o presente artigo objetiva compreender a visão dos líderes da Reforma - Martinho Lutero, Ulrich Zwínglio e João Calvino - a respeito do sacramento da Santa Ceia, com a fi nalidade de identifi car a repercussão da controvérsia em cinco igrejas evangélicas da atualidade. The Protestant Reformation of XVI century was one of the events that marked the Church history, sharing Occidental Christianity between Catholics and Protestants. Thereafter there was a topic that caused the first great schism between own reformers and their followers. From this perspective this article intends to comprehend Reformation leader’s vision – Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli and John Calvin – regarding Lord’s Supper sacrament, with the goal to identify the contest’s repercussion in five evangelical churches of the present time. |
