Zusammenfassung:Non-interventionist objective divine action (NIODA) theories proposed by eminent scholars are often misconstrued as the causal joint theory. This misunderstanding is derived from the absence of a detailed, systematic examination of divine action theories. This article explores one of the NIODA proposals, namely, Arthur Peacocke's divine action model. Up until now, research on Peacocke's divine action model has been focused on particular aspects. This article contributes by introducing and elaborating on Peacocke's theology of science and by correcting misconceptions in ongoing divine action studies.
