Description
Summary:Jürgen Habermas has recently published what is likely to be his final opus magnum. Here, he discusses the rather large topic constituted by the constellation between faith and knowledge in a Western context (Habermas 2019a, 2019b). He invites us to a journey over more than 1700 pages. When you place the work on your desk, the question presents itself immediately: Is it worth it? Do we find here a contribution that offers something helpful for understanding religion in the contemporary Western world? This question is, of course, related to what motivations Habermas himself may have had for entering into a project of this size.
