Die Vielzahl an Beispielen ermöglicht es, die einzelnen Bilder jeweils bestimmten Destruktionsprozessen zuzuordnen und die Erkenntnisse auf andere Befunde zu übertragen. Baumaterial, Zerstörungsursache und Gelände bestimmen weitestgehend das Aussehen der Versturzkomplexe. Ihre Interpretation bietet somit Hinweise zur Bautechnik und liefert Hilfsmittel für die Rekonstruktion von Gebäudeaufrissen und Verfallsprozessen. In the Palace of Qaṭna some situations of collapsed walls were found, which supplied useful information on the destruction of the building. Similar features could be observed in the ruins of Mishrife. The multiplicity of examples made it possible to assign the single situations to certain destruction processes and to apply the recognitions to other findings. Building materials, the cause of destruction and the terrain widely determine the appearance of collapsed wall complexes. Thus, their interpretation offers information about construction techniques and provides aid for the reconstruction of building layouts and dilapidation processes. تم التعرف في قصر قطنا على حالات تهدم متعددة باحت بمعلومات قيّمة عن كيفية دمار البناء. كما رُصدت حالات مشابهة في أطلال قرية المشرفة. إن العدد الكبير للأمثلة يسمح بإلحاق الصور المتفرقة كل مرة بعمليات خراب محدّدة واستعارة المعلومات لتفسير حالات دمار أخرى. تحدد مواد البناء وسبب الدمار وكذلك مسار السطح مظهر مركَّبات التهدم إلى أبعد حد. وهكذا فإن تفسيرها يقدم دلالات على تقنية البناء ويزود بوسائل تساعد على وضع تصور لمساقط الأبنية وعمليات تداعيها |
