Summary:The JEDU-Treasures is an online database project devoted to written Hebrew sources concerned with Jewish Education from the Middle Ages until the advent of modern education at the beginning of the Twentieth century. JEDU database contains texts from Halakhic Literature, Responsa, Homiletics, Jewish Thought, Polemics, Pinkasei Kehilot (Community), Approbations (Haskamot), Sermons, (Derashot), Periodical literature and more.JEDU-Treasures has been developed under the joint auspices of the Schocken Institute of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and the The Dov Rappel Center for Jewish Educational Thought of Lifshitz Teacher's College in Jerusalem. The database includes: * Over 2,100 sources related to the history of Jewish Education. * More than 2,000 bibliographic references arranged by subject and country. * A Jewish education text-book data bank with facsimiles of title-pages for more than 1,200 titles in Hebrew and other languages (1488-1918).
