| Summary: | 본 논문은 기후 붕괴 시대에 종교의 역할과 방향에 대해 살펴보았다. 기후변화는 인류가 직면한 가장 큰 위협 중 하나이다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 과학과 기술만으로는 부족하며, 종교와 같은 문화적인 측면에서도 성찰이 필요하다. 기후변화는 도덕적 혹은 윤리적 문제이기도 하기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 이처럼 급격한 기후변화로 인한 기후 붕괴 시대에 종교가 어떤 역할을 할 수 있는지를 분석했다. 종교는 세계관을 형성하는 데 중요한 역할을 담당하기도 하며 특히, 종교는 기후변화 극복을 위한 인식과 노력을 촉진하는 역할을 할 수 있기 때문이다. 이를 위해 생태 위기의 근원을 종교에서 찾고 그 해결책으로 종교를 제시한 린 화이트의 논의와 그 논의에 대한 수용과 비판을 검토하였다. 더불어 린 화이트의 주장을 검증하고자 했던 연구들과 종교와 기후변화에 대한 태도의 연관성을 검토하고 종교 혁신의 필요성을 주장했다. This paper examines the role and direction of religion in the era of climate Disruption. Climate change is one of the biggest threats facing human, and it requires not only science and technology but also reflection from cultural perspectives such as religion. Climate change is also a moral or ethical issue, Thus, this paper analyzed what role religion can play in this rapid climate change era. Because Religion also plays an important role in shaping the worldview and especially in promoting awareness and efforts to overcome climate change. To this end, This paper examined Lynn White’s discussion of finding the roots of ecological crisis in religion and presenting religion as a solution, as well as research on attitudes towards religion and climate change. Finally, we argued that the need for religious innovation in the Anthropocene era. |
