Description
Résumé:Local self-government constitutes the common good of the state and all its citizens. His appointment is justified by the implementation of various goods, delivery of public services, undertaking activities and cooperation aimed at satisfying the collective needs of civic communities - the state community and self-government communities. Recognition of local government as a special good can be found in many approaches, among which a special place is occupied by the constitutional principle of the common good and social doctrine of the Catholic Church. Both meanings correspond with each other, and their interpretations recognize local government as the common good of the state and all citizens, at the same time citizens who are residents of individual self-government communities. What is the common good of local government? What is the understanding of the common good of local government in terms of the constitutional principle of the common good and social doctrine of the Catholic Church? What is the understanding of the common good within the framework of cooperation between local government and the Territorial Defence Forces? This study is an attempt to answer these questions, as well as to indicate selected examples of the title relationship for the common good.
