| Summary: | On November 28-29, 1997, the first international scientific conference in the cycle of 4 international scientific conferences "Christianity: History and Present" was held in Kyiv, which was planned for 1997-2000. The conference was co-organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Department of History, Philosophy and the Law), the State Committee of Ukraine for Religious Affairs, the Ukrainian Association of Religious Studies, the Lviv Museum of the History of Religion. The coordinator of the conference was the Department of Religious Studies at the Institute of Philosophy named after G. Skovoroda of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Participation in the conference was attended by Ukrainian scholars - philosophers, historians, religious scholars from many Ukrainian cities who work in various fields - academic education, education, culture, government institutions, as well as foreign scholars from Canada, Poland, and the USA. 28-29 листопада 1997 р. в Києві відбулася перша міжнародна наукова конференція із циклу 4-х міжнародних наукових конференцій "Християнство: історія і сучасність", які заплановані на 1997-2000 рр. Співорганізаторами конференції виступили Національна академія наук України (відділення історії, філософії і права), Державний комітет України у справах релігії, Українська асоціація релігієзнавців, Львівський музей історії релігії. Координатором конференції було Відділення релігієзнавства Інституту філософії ім.Г.Сковороди НАН України. Участь у конференції взяли українські науковці - філософи, історики, релігієзнавці з багатьох міст України, які працюють в різних сферах - академічній науці, освіті, культурі, державних установах, а також зарубіжні вчені з Канади, Польщі, США. |
