| Summary: | Baptism of Rus prince Volodymyr was not a more significant event than the adoption of Christianity 1153 years ago - in 860, Prince Oscald (Askold). It is strange that the 1150th anniversary of this baptism in 2010 somehow flicked for the authorities of Ukraine (hardly wrote the "Ukrainian government" - AK), unnoticed. But you see him for Moscow is not interesting. Meanwhile, the event played a more significant role in the history of Kyivan Rus' than the baptism of Vladimir baptism that was not noticed by the then Christian world. Хрещення Русі князем Володимиром не було якоюсь більш значимою подією, ніж прийняття християнства 1153 років тому - у 860 році князем Оскольдом (Аскольдом). Дивним є те, що 1150-літній ювілей цього хрещення у 2010 році якось промелькнув для влади України (ледь не написав «української влади» - АК) непоміченим. Бо ж бачите він для Москви не цікавий. А між тим та подія відіграла в історії Київської Русі значимішу роль, ніж непомічене тогочасним християнським світом Володимирове Хрещення. |
