| Summary: | This article aims do highlight how Catholics and members of diferente Christian churches deal with the thema "caring for the common home", discussed in Encyclical Laudato Si’. This paper is based on a critical reading of several articles, written by theologians - Catholics, Protestants and Anglicans -, religion scientists and other academics, published in three collections (Caring for the commom home: Laudato Si’ thelogical and pastoral keys; Evangelicals and the Pope: views of evangelical leaders on Pope Francis’ Encyclical Laudato Si’; Dialogues within the common house: interdisciplinary receptions on the encyclical Laudato Si’), concluding that the preservation of planet Earth - our common home - is a common concern for Catholics and Evangelicals.
