Summary:The aim of the article is to analyze the formation conditions of the Brazilian Baptist Convention (CBB), from 1907, as an institutionalization movement of the Baptist denomination in Brazil. In addition, we will analyze the institutional design attributed to CBB, more specifically, how the organization was distributed into sectors and how these sectors would act in relation to pastors and local churches.
