Description
Summary:This article aims to analyze the composition of the female trajectory in the work Ragioamento della Nanna and della Antonia by the italian writer Pietro Aretino, published in the year 1534. The plot takes place in Rome and has a dialogue between two prostitutes. Nanna, the protagonist, shares with Antonia her adventures as a nun, wife and prostitute to decide which of these possibilities would be the ideal path for Nanna's daughter. Because Aretino approaches three distinct and defined models of the feminine, this work will focus on observing this trajectory based on the Christian construction of Eva, Virgin Mary and Mary Magdalene, seeking to observe the divergences and similarities that the author makes between his characters and the female biblical representations.
