Description
Summary:Encounter of Christianity with Hinduism is traditionally envisaged as an exclusive concern of their mutual relationship.Theological issues involved in such an encounter are usually discussed in the framework of a comparative critique or dialectic of which we can see different models like exclusivism, inclusivism or parallelism. Such atrestrictive and stereotyped approach is rendered redundant in the present pluralistic culture, especially in the Indian multi-religious context. What is needed today is a comprehensive-vision and approach in which the uniqueness of both the religions is respected aswell as a creative relationship is maintained in thei rencounte ron the wider spectrum ofr eligious pluralism.
