Description
Summary:An expanded analysis of the original Spiritual Experience Index yielded two distinct dimensions. The item groupings with the highest factor loadings were identified as the Spiritual Support and the Spiritual Openness subscales. The analysis provided preliminary evidence for the internal consistency and construct validity of SS and SO. The possibilities of using scale scores on both dimensions to categorize individuals into four spiritual types were also explored.
