| Summary: | The work identifies the patristic theological sources of the environmental cosmology in orthodox Christianity held in the thought of Bartholomew, Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople. The research approach is framed in a process of discursive analysis of hermeneutic-interpretative nature. It is observed that the deployment of patristic sources used by the patriarch allows him to build deep environmental meanings anchored in a Christian vision that presents channels of expression from a symbolic narrative of a religious nature, aimed at providing solutions to the planetary crisis that contemporary humanity is experiencing. |
