Description
Summary:The central topic of this research is to know the notions of citizenship that emerge in the speech/practice of the young evangelic who studies at universities, members of interdenominational international social organizations that belong to several universities of Santiago. This article will analyze the point of view of young evangelic protestant students, in relation with their social participation and their relation with their original churches. The empiric study of this article is based on the speeches that emerge in the universities environment, theorizing about the social issues that affect the national reality. The religious pluralization in the universities context provokes that the young students have access to the speeches/ practices that is not common in their towns and secretiveness of their churches. This is why, they are not recognize as part of the message of those origins and, since that phenomena, in some cases the young people leave their original churches or they keep it in the private sphere.
