Résumé: | This article provides a brief introduction to Buddhism followed by an outline of the Buddhist view of life. It then offers a presentation of the Shin Buddhism school – the Jodo Shin School, or True Pure Land School – and articulates salvation for all genders as a contribution to a specific way of thinking. Finally, the article reflects on the origin of violence against women, with a focus on Brazil, and encourages change from the perspective of Shin Buddhism. |
