| Summary: | This text aims to investigate the Catholic University Youth (JUC) movement through youth theories. To do so, we will first summarize the available theories on the subject, highlighting a specific case that united the themes of religion and youth. In order to present the JUC, this text traces a historical reconstruction of the movement’s sociogenesis, narrating the movement’s trajectory until its conclusion in 1966. Furthermore, to comprehend the social phenomenal of JUC, we try to compare it with the Charismatic Renewal Youth (RCC). |
