| Summary: | Against the background of a discussion of gender differences within feminist writing or external to a consideration of the female universe, the focalization of the «impersonal» – here standing for the neutral territory of an undifferentiated from which the discussion parts – aims at problematising any possible univocal reference to a subject or a specific gender. More that the origin of the discourse, the impersonal touches the complex of the becoming less, of the concealing of the foundation or the beginning of the discourse in the complex interweaving of elements and vectors of significance which give rise to every experience. The impersonal indicates everything when it gains access to the discourse, stagnating as non-objectifyable, there where it dissipates itself in the exercise of subjectivity, and even less can it be reduced to the biological differentiation feminine/masculine. Here Kafka’s writings seem to represent the most appropriate territory. |
