Description
Summary:This article focuses on considerations to be addressed by local religious communities that wish to be hospitable to the fullest possible extent. Issues of access include a broad range of disabilities: cognitive, physical, and sensory. These issues directly relate to the task of fully welcoming people with disabilities who wish to join with communities of faith at worship. Failure to address exclusivistic practices prevents participation by some and alienates others who desire to participate fully.
