The rise of humanitarian action and the revival of philanthropy tend to make charity and its practices seem outdated. Nevertheless, the world of faith-based charities has changed considerably in recent years. These charities have successfully updated their strategies of communication through campaigns crafted by public-relations professionals. This article seeks to uncover what faith-based charitable organisations are saying about charity through their fundraising campaigns. |
