Description
Summary:In the current "change of epoch," digital technologies play a defining role. Theological ethics is under pressure not only to articulate increasingly trans-disciplinary reflections, but also to identify operational steps that involve other actors who are active in the field. The Rome Call for AI Ethics, promoted by the Pontifical Academy for Life, is situated in such a perspective, promoting ethical regulation produced in collaboration with and the assumption of responsibility by signatories. The representatives of international and ecclesial companies and institutions who signed the document also commit themselves to expanding the network of adherents. (English)
