| Zusammenfassung: | Este artigo investiga a vida de uma ilustre moradora da Ilha de Colares, Estado do Pará, Dona Marina. Tendo como horizonte interrogativo a forma como mãos e mentes femininas tecem a cura, a magia, o cuidado com crianças, homens e plantas, realizou-se uma pesquisa de campo, com entrevistas profundas ao longo de 2012. Se, por um lado, a violência simbólica se expressa nos percalços da trajetória de Dona Marina, por outro, suas vivências religiosas abriram perspectivas de afirmação de si e de autonomia, permitindo um efetivo empoderamento. This article investigates the life of a distinguished resident the is-land of Colares, State of Pará, Dona Marina. Having as their horizon interrogative how it women’s minds and hands weave the healing magic, caring for children, men and plants, we carried out a field research, deep interviews with over 2012. If, the one part, symbolic violence is expressed in mishaps the trajectory of Dona Marina on the other hand, his religious experiences have opened perspectives for self-assertion and autonomy, permitting an efficient empowerment. |
