| Zusammenfassung: | The Pentecostal churches and individuals who now occupy power in the Brazilian government think and act from a theocratic political theology. This pre-modern perspective surpassed by anthropocentric political philosophies persists as a vision that translates into speeches, attitudes and public policies. It is the search for a religious foundation capable of overcoming the crisis that the State and Brazilian society would be going through. The assertion that God is in charge of politics through representatives elected by the people brings together the democratic exercise of power with theocratic foundations.The rise of Pentecostals to national power goes back a few decades and has revealed its presence in the formation of "evangelical benches". The secularly institutionalized state has supported religious movements that appear to be legitimate and urgent for the salvation of the nation from the great enemy: the left. Ultra-liberal project and authoritarian exercise of power have been the concrete political translation of the power of God in action in the current government. A reflexão tem como objetivo analisar as igrejas e indivíduos de tendência pentecostal que hoje ocupam o poder no governo brasileiro. Tais sujeitos pensam e agem a partir de uma teologia política teocrática. Essa perspectiva pré-moderna superada pelas filosofias políticas antropocêntricas persiste como visão que se traduz em discursos, em atitudes e em políticas públicas. A reflexão segue um método analítico que se ancora em dados conhecidos da realidade atual. Conclui que os pentecostais atuantesno governo atual buscam um fundamento religioso capaz de superar a crise pela qual estariam passando o Estado e a sociedade brasileira. A afirmação de que Deus está no comando da política por meio de representantes eleitos pelo povo faz confluir o exercício democrático do poder com fundamentos teocráticos. A ascensão dos pentecostais ao poder nacional vem de algumas décadas e revelou sua presença na formação das “bancadas evangélicas”. O Estado laico institucionalmente estabelecido tem suportado gestões religiosas que se apresentam como legítimas e como urgentes para a salvação da nação do grande inimigo: as esquerdas. Projeto ultraliberal e exercício autoritário do poder têm sido a tradução política concreta do poder de Deus em ação no governo atual. |
