| Zusammenfassung: | As aves tiveram uma enorme importância na vida natural, económica, artística e espiritual do antigo Egipto, permitindo entender as origens da cultura egípcia, o funcionamento da sua realeza, a organização das oferendas nos altares das divindades e dos defuntos e o próprio comportamento das suas divindades.Entre as suas muitas aves que receberam a atenção dos antigos Egípcios no domínio mitológico, interessa perceber as suas principais características, modos de atuação e papéis que desempenharam, bem como as metáforas e os símbolos que lhe foram associados para exprimirem, por exemplo, alguns conceitos maiores do pensamento religioso egípcio. Birds had a huge importance in the natural, economic, artistic and spiritual life of ancient Egypt, opening a way to understanding the origins of the Egyptian culture, the ways of functioning of its royalty, the organization of the offerings on the altars of the deities and the deceased and the behavior of the deities’ itself.Among the many birds that got ancient Egyptian’s attention in the mythological scene, it is important to understand their main characteristics, operating modes and roles played, as well as the metaphors and the symbols associated to it to express, for example, among bigger concepts of the Egyptian religious thought. |
