Description
Summary:This artixle intends to show the important influence of the gnoscology of the Scotist School on the thought of the Blessed Antonio Rosmini. Indeed, following his attentive study of the Works of Kant and of German Idealism, Rosmini realized that Thomist gnoseology was not able to respond to the problems posed by Kantian thought. Taking his inspiration from some of the works of Duns Scotus, and from the synthesis of Scotus's thought offered by tha Scotist Bignamini, Rosmini succceeded in answering Kant's objections to Thomas's gnoseology, and was able to work out the two main theories of his own anthropology; the doctrine of the idea dell'essere in universale and the doctrine of the sentimento fondamentale corpóreo.
