Description
Summary:By analyzing the global scope of electronic media and religion, this article stresses their features and addresses the questions: What is the probable feature for interaction between religion and electronic media? Shall the future of religion and media be sought in convergence or divergence? We first propose a theoretical framework and then a definition of both religion and media. In addition, their features of globalization and universality are discussed. Two different approaches to religion are suggested, along with partial models for the interaction of religion and media.
