Résumé:From the introduction of compulsory education on, there is a competition between the state and parents with regard to the question who is responsible for the education of children. The author holds a playdoyer for partnership between school and parents. Schools need this partnership if one looks to the importance of the family for the formation of identity of children. At the end of the article, different forms of partnership are presented and also results of research carried out by the author.
