With this classification, we aim to challenge the view that atheism is not a belief system but merely the lack of belief in some transcendent being. Moreover, there seems to be no single atheism per se, instead there are many atheistic worldviews that include a number of positive beliefs and motivate their atheism in different ways. | ||
| 520 | |a In diesem Aufsatz stellen wir eine Klassifikation für den zeitgenössischem Atheismus vor, der auf den Weltanschauungen und den Überzeugungen von Atheisten basiert. Wir schlagen vor, dass man mindestens vier Arten von Atheismus unterschieden kann: szientistische Atheismus, philosophischer Atheismus, tragischer Atheismus und humanistischer Atheismus. Diese Kategorien können wiederum in Subkategorien unterteilt werden. Mit dieser Klassifikation wollen wir die Ansicht, dass Atheismus kein Glaubenssystem darstellt, herausfordern, und darauf aufmerksam machen, dass Atheismus mehr ist als der Mangel an Glauben an ein transzendentes Wesen. Es scheint keinen Atheismus per se zu geben, sondern viele verschiedene atheistische Weltanschauungen, die bestimmte Überzeugungen beinhalten und damit verschiede Arten von Atheismus motivieren. | ||
