Zusammenfassung:There is a lack of research examining the relationship between religious identity and multicultural counseling competency among counselors-in-training. A correlational design was used to investigate the relationship between age, religious identity development, and multicultural counseling competency of counseling students (N = 156) from cacrep accredited programs. The results, derived from a canonical correlational analysis, indicated a significant, linear relationship between religious identity development and multicultural counseling competency. Limitations, implications, and suggestions for future research are discussed.
