Résumé:This study aimed to determine the psychological and spiritual well-being of hemodialysis patients in Turkey. This descriptive and correlational study included 86 hemodialysis patients. Data were collected using the Spiritual Well-Being Scale and Psychological Well-Being Scale. There was a positive correlation between spiritual and psychological well-being (r = 0.315, p = 0.003). Psychological well-being and age explained 39% of total variance (F = 7.593, p = 0.001). In conclusion, there should be provided individualized spiritual care and counseling to improve the psychological well-being of hemodialysis patients.
