Analyzing the Effect of Religiosity on the View of Life and Death in Korea

이 연구는 성인들을 대상으로 사생관 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 종교성을 중심으로 파악함으로써 종교와 사생관 간의 상관성을 확인하는 것을 목표로　설정하여　수행하였다.　이를 위하여 성인 602명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 사생관은 기존의 사생관 차원에서 새롭게 추가하여 ‘순환형’, ‘단절형’, ‘과업형’의 세 가지 차원으로 구성하였고, 이에 영향을 주는 요인으로 종교성을 ‘믿음’, ‘교리’, ‘의례’의 3 요소로 설정하였다. 그 결과 믿음, 교리, 의례의 대부분의 변수에서 순환형에 강한 정적인(＋) 영향을 미치고 있고, 단절형...

520 |a The objectives of this study are to investigate factors influencing Korean’s view of life and death based on ‘religiosity’ and to illuminate the relationship between ‘religiosity’ and ‘view of life and death’ in Korea. In the study, 602 individuals were surveyed by Hankook research (HRC) and the collected data were analyzed. For the analysis, I classified ‘view of life and death’ into three types of response variables, ‘Circulation type’, ‘Discontinuation type’, and ‘Implementation type’, and belief (e.g., religious belief and prayer), ritual (e.g., attending rituals or religious communities), doctrine (e.g., knowledge on your religion or other religion) were used as independent variables. Results indicated that sub-variables related to belief, ritual, and doctrine had a positive validity with the circulation type but a negative relationship with the discontinuation type. For the implementation type, a sub-variable related to belief was negatively associated with view of life and death.
