Zusammenfassung:Itisnotanover-statementtomaintainthatnosocietycanreallyattainsocial,economicandpoliticalheightswhenpeacefulcoexistenceislacking.Itisthereforeimperativethatallnationsoftheworldwhethermulti-religionsandmulti-ethnicmustalltrendthepathofpeacefullivingamongitspeople.Moreover,theethicsofharmonyandpeacefullivinginIslamhasagreatcorrelationwiththeconceptofOmoluabiinYorubaculture.Theyarelikeatwinbrother.ThisdescriptiveworksopinedthatcultureandreligionplaypivotalrolesinthelivesofAfricanpeopleandassuchbothshouldbeengagedinpromotingandmaintainingharmonyandpeacefulcoexistence.ThepresentationconcludesthatpeacefulcoexistencewhichisoneoftheIslamicethicsandYorubavirtueofOmoluabiifappliedcanserveasaheuristicdevicetoachieveawell-orderedsociety.Thepaperrecommendsamongotherthatthereshouldbeaconsistentandpersistentdialoguestrategiesamongreligiousgroupsandtheindigenouspeopletoalwaysfacilitate peaceful coexistence among people.
