Description
Résumé:In Pope Francis’ opinion, at the beginning of the 21st century, new cultures are formed and come into existence, in which Christians (Catholics) are not their promoters or creators of their meaning. These are cultures of "new patterns", messages, symbols, contents and a vision of reality, contrary to and competitive towards the culture based on Christian (Catholic) values. Disintegration of the natural family pattern, forming awareness of an individual and community through mass media, domination of subjectivism, totalism of economy market ideology, consumerism as well as relativism, forces the Francis’ Church to approach differently the fundamental values, thereby redefine functions and meaning of a cultural strategy, the basic one for the future of the Church.
