| Zusammenfassung: | The project Religious and Moral Pluralism (RAMP) was carried out in 11 countries of Western and Central Europe in 1997-99. By widening the scope of traditional survey questions on religion and morality, the project intended to evaluate the extent of existing pluralism and to investigate the interrelationship between religiosity and morality. The article discusses the research design and the theoretical perspectives that guided this international project. The researchers hoped that reflection on the results of the study would stimulate discussion on the social and political consequences of religious and moral pluralism. |
