Description
Résumé:The Jesuitism has been exerted a growing attraction for those seeking to understand the Early Modernity, in the light of the relationship between power andreligion. The zeal which the Company managed the written of its past is a clear example of apologetics will producing a lot of documents that stimulate and challenge any attempt of reinterpretation. From a Foucault history of Western governmentality we understand that from the Spiritual Exercises of Loyola to the nascent Society of Jesus correspondence system a entirely new Christian way of governor is revealed, where both the intimate space of the spiritual life and the unknown limits of a world without religious conquest define the territory where it will essay a modern technologies of power. We intend to make a contribution to the research of this new ratio gubernationis, this new rationality of government that pierces the soul, the body, the individual will and the divine oikonomia.
