Analysis of the data indicates that the demographic variables were only slightly related to the attitudes toward induced abortion. However, strong relationships were found to exist between the socio-cultural attitudinal variables and, in particular, the clergymen's attitudes toward women and induced abortion. It is concluded that a prejudice or bias toward women or sex could be expressed in a negative attitude which, in turn, could affect the clergy's attitude toward induced abortion. | ||
