Mais leur datation a fluctué entre le Moyen et le Nouvel Empire. Cette note veut proposer un déchiffrement et une interprétation acceptables de quatre de ces inscriptions parmi les plus importantes qui révèlent la présence de sémites parmi les mineurs-fondeurs des expéditions égyptiennes aux mines de turquoise. Par là même se trouvent déjà identifiés vingt et un signes-lettres de l'alphabet dans les premières décennies du Bronze Récent, mais l'origne de l'alphabet remonte bien plus haut. The decipherment of the Proto-Sinaitic inscriptions has a long history and the interest in them is due mainly to their place in the research on the origin of the alphabet. But their date fluctuates between Middle and New Egyptian Kingdom. This note wants to propose an acceptable decipherment and interpretation of four of the most important inscriptions which reveals the presence of Semites among the miners and the smelters of Egyptian expeditions at the mines of turquoise. Thus twenty-one letters-signs of the alphabet are already identified in the first decades of the Late Bronze period. But the origin of the alphabet must go back much further. | ||
