On the basis of concrete developments in international politics, it may be seen that the anthropocentrism of the order of human rights in the protection of creation is both a curse and a blessing. On the one hand, this order can be seen as reflective of a speciesist narrowing of the concept of dignity. On the other hand, the interdependence of human rights and environmental protection in political terms proves to be a precondition that makes possible a more effective protection of creation. | ||
