Résumé:From 27 to 28 February 2009, the Nanzan Institute for Religion and Culture sponsored an international symposium on “Rescue, Recovery, and Religion,” the fourteenth in its series of interreligious symposia. Okuyama Michiaki of the Nanzan Institute, the coordinator for the event, arranged for a number of outstanding scholars in various fields from around the world to come to Nanzan for two days. This was the climax of two years of colloquia on the topic at the Institute.
