| 520 | |a Din ve toplumsal cinsiyet, ayrı ayrı uzun yıllardır çalışılan konular olmakla birlikte, bu iki alanın kesişimi farklı bilim dalları tarafından çalışılmaktadır. Türkiye’de din ve toplumsal cinsiyetin, toplumsal hayattaki karşılaşmaları ise, daha çok örtünme pratikleri, kadın dindarlığı, kutsal metinlerde toplumsal cinsiyet kalıpları, medyada dindar kadının temsili, İslami feminizm, din ve eşcinsellik gibi farklı tartışma konuları şeklinde olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de din ve toplumsal cinsiyet konusu kapsamında tamamlanmış yüksek lisans ve doktora tez çalışmaları ele alınmıştır. YÖK veri tabanında bu alanda yapılan tamamlanmış tezler incelenmiş, 1990 yılından, 30 Haziran 2016’ya dek 172 adet yüksek lisans, 39 adet doktora olmak üzere, toplamda 211 kayıtlı teze ulaşılmıştır. Konuyla ilgili mevcut akademik çalışmalar incelendiğinde, konunun çoğunlukla din sosyolojisi ve sosyoloji alanlarında işlendiği tespit edilmiştir. Sosyolojiyi, Siyaset Bilimi ve Uluslararası İlişkiler bölümünde yapılan tezler takip etmektedir. Ayrıca Kadın Çalışmaları, İletişim, Tarih, Temel İslam Bilimleri ve Edebiyat, bu konuyu çalışan diğer bölümlerdir. İlk olarak 1990’lı yıllardan itibaren çalışılmaya başlanan konunun, son 10 yılda büyük bir ivme kazandığı görülmektedir. İşlenen konular arasında, başörtüsü ve örtünme başlığının öne çıktığı görülmektedir. Bunu, Temel İslam Bilimlerinde kadının konumu takip etmektedir. Tezlerde öne çıkan diğer konular ise; laiklik, sekülerleşme, kadının aile içindeki yeri, sosyal hayat içinde kadın, modernleşme hareketleri içinde kadın, mahrem, kamuda dindar kadının görünürlüğü gibi konulardır. | ||
| 520 | |a The crossroads of religion and gender in social life is the subject of different debates that are currently being discussed such as veiling practices, women religiousness, gender stereotypes in holy texts, the representation of religious women in media, Islamic feminism, religion and homosexuality. In this context, masters’ and doctoral dissertations have been completed under this study in which religion and gender issues in Turkey were discussed. When we examine the dissertations, contained in the Council of Higher Education (CoHE), that were completed in this field since 1990 a total number of 172 master thesis’s’, 39 PhD thesis’s’ including 211 registered dissertations was reached. When considering the current academic works on the subject, it has been found that the topic is mostly committed in sociology of religion and sociology fields of study. The dissertations were completed in Political Science and International Relations respectively. In addition, Women Studies, Communication, History, Fundamentals of Islamic Sciences and Literature and other departments were also studied. Firstly, this subject began to be studied in the 1990’s, it has gained great momentum in the last 10 years. The debate of the headscarf and veil seems to be at the forefront of the subjects covered in the study. It has been found that the position of women is a part and parcel of Basic Islamic Sciences. The other prominent issues covered in the dissertations are secularism and secularization, the position of women within the family, women in the context of social life, women in the movement of modernization, the visibility of religious women in the public sphere. | ||
