Description
Résumé:This study examines the positive roles the religious commitment plays in the context of elderly people’s life satisfaction and well-being in the case of the Konya Nursing House. The data used in this study has been acquired through the survey we made in the Konya Nursing House. We assume that religious people are happier, more satisfied, and more fulfilled than nonreliguous ones. This general assumption is tested with respect to happiness, family satisfaction, health satisfaction, life excitement, and well being. This study aims at proving that there exists such a relationship between religious commitment and life satisfaction and, well being. In addition, the above relationship is confirmed under several, but not all, variables
