| Zusammenfassung: | Este texto examina como a incredulidade inseriu-se na história do Ocidente no ápice da própria modernidade, sendo antes de tudo uma crítica às representações religiosas. Porém, a modernidade significou não só um fim da fé, mas também um recomeço cujo destino e promessas ainda estão sendo decididos à base da capacidade da teologia de reconstruir um discurso público numa era em que a religião foi sanada de suas feridas no ambulatório privado da piedade e moral burguesas. O texto oferece primeiro um critério para o exame do discurso teológico como um discurso mítico e examina, então, as condições de possibilidade e impossibilidade de sua desconstrução. A seguir, discute duas vertentes de reconstrução teológica e suas limitações. Como conclusão, o artigo oferece uma modesta proposta de entender o discurso sobre a religião como um discurso transgressivo a margear os saberes disciplinares. This text examines how skepticism inserted itself in the history of Western ideas. Such skepticism emerging at the climax of modernity came about, before ali, as a criticism of religious representations. However, modernity represented not only an end to faith, but also a new beginning whose fate and promise are still being decided on the basis of theology's capability to reconstruct a public discourse in an era in which religion was healed in the private infirmary of bourgeois piety and morality. The text offers first a criterion for the examination of the theological discourse as a myth, and then probes the conditions of possibility of its deconstruction. Two avenues for theological reconstruction and their Iimitations are discussed. As a conclusion the article offers a modest proposal for how to understand the religious discourse as a transgressive discourse emerging at the margins of disciplinary knowledges. |
