| Zusammenfassung: | O presente artigo identifica na elaboração da expressão "justificação de quem duvida" realizada por Paul Tillich um exercício hermenêutico sobre a tradição protestante. Ele alude à natureza hermenêutica da teologia, expõe a reinterpretação proposta por Tillich e pergunta por sua significãncia hoje. Em busca de tal significãncia, argumenta que a atual falta de dúvida não deveria ser vista simplesmente como um renascimento glorioso da fé, mas pelo menos também como um disfarce da angústia humana. The present article identifies Paul Tillich's elaboration of the expression "justification of him/her who doubts" as an hermeneutic exercise on the Protestant tradition. It mentions the hermeneutical nature of theology, expounds the reinterpretation proposed by Tillich and asks for its meaning today. In search for such meaning, it argues that the contemporary lack of doubt should not simply be seen as a glorious revival of faith. but at least also as a disguise of human anguish. |
