| Zusammenfassung: | Este artigo almeja ser mais uma contribuição à discussão do caráter essencialmente hermenêutico da Psicologia da Religião. Apresenta e discute a hipótese central da Psicologia do Profundo, assentada sobre o conceito de inconsciente, como chave hermenêutica fundamental para a desmistificação do mistério inerente à natureza da psique humana e, como passo subsequente e necessário, a religião, enquanto aliada ao processo de remitificação. Isto, porque, em última análise, “o simbólico somente pode ser compreendido adequadamente simbolicamente”. This article aims to be a further contribution to the discussion of the essentially hermeneutical character of Psychology of Religion. It presents and discusses the central hypothesis of the Depth Psychology, based on the concept of the unconscious, as the fundamental hermeneutical key for the demystification of the mystery inherent in the nature of the human psyche and, as a subsequent and necessary step, religion, as an important ally to the process of remythification. This is the case, at least, as “the symbolic can only be adequately understood symbolically”. |
