Aiming to build a society with more justice in which tolerance, respect, plurality, freedoms and human rights can truly be respected, a group of religious people, most of them adherents of religions od African matrix, founded in 2008 the Committee of Combat against Religious Intolerance and they annually organize the Walk in Defense of Freedom, currently in its 12th edition. The event takes place annually in the city of Rio de janeiro and its goal is to promote interfaith dialogues and meetings in order to advance actions for peace between the religions. | ||
