L’inconscient désigne chez ce dernier le fait que la conscience ne parvient pas à hiérarchiser les tendances psychiques enfouies dans le subconscient. En appliquant ces notions à l’expérience religieuse, Henri Bois distingue deux étapes. L’étape religieuse consiste dans le dialogue intérieur, situé au niveau du moi subliminal, entre l’Esprit divin et l’esprit humain. L’étape psychologique permet à cette expérience spirituelle du moi subliminal d’accéder à la conscience par la médiation des croyances religieuses. | ||

According to him, the unconsciousness refers to the fact that consciousness fails to prioritize the psychic tendencies lying in the subconsciousness. Applying these notions to religious experience, Henri Bois distinguishes two stages. The religious stage consists of the inner dialogue, located at the level of the subliminal self, between the divine Spirit and the human spirit.
